CERTIFICATE of VACCINATION...

Cats can only be accepted if they are in good health and you are able to bring with you a Certificate of Vaccination that confirms that the cats first-time inoculations, all courses, have been completed before the first day of boarding. Annual boosters should be done as far in advance as possible. (if in any doubt please call us) Your vaccination documents will be kept until you return. No cat will be accepted unless it has been inoculated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. All cats should have been treated for fleas and wormed recently. Should any cat on arrival require treatment for internal or external parasites (fleas, worms etc) then a charge will be levied for this.

SORRY...

No male cats over 6 months old that have not been neutered can be accepted.

Any current or ongoing problems with a cat’s health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse any cat that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament, or sick at the time of boarding.

INSURANCE...

Should it be necessary at our discretion for a vet to be called for any existing health condition prior to boarding, all fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner. Illness or injury sustained whilst at the cattery will be covered by Secret Garden Cattery. Veterinary bills incurred through unrelated or pre-existing conditions, diagnosed or not, will be the responsibility of the owner. Payment of these fee’s will be required on collection. All cats boarded are insured whilst in our care, excluding fees or death in connection with any condition that existed prior to boarding, or the cost of cremation. In the event of serious illness we reserve the right to follow the vets advice for what would be in the best interests of the animal in the event you are not available to take instructions from. If your cat is elderly or has a pre-existing condition, we strongly recommend that you leave instructions with your vet as to what your wishes are. Where possible we will try to use your vet, if not our vet, Stonehenge Vets, will be used.
